2. Gather all of the architectural plans you have for the project
Once you know what kind of rendering you want, you’ll want to gather all of the architectural plans that you have. This includes elevations, floor plans, landscaping plans, site plans, etc. PDF format is preferred, but CAD files or 3D Objects files (including but not limited to Rhino, 3ds Max, SketchUp) work as well. These plans are crucial for starting the modeling process!
3. Decide on the colors and materials needed
Whether you need to speak with the client or do some thinking for yourself, before contacting a rendering firm you will want to have a good idea of the colors and materials you will be using.
